I really like to help people find their dream homes, but even more I like to buy and remodel homes. I find comfort and fun in purchasing a house and restoring it back to its former glory! Same hold true for buildings! I purchased the old Hart’s Bridal shop in late fall of 2013 and basically gutted it and started over! I knew I wanted a firm where anyone that walked through my door would feel welcome and my agents would love a great place to work! That dream has become a reality with 4 new agents and a finished interior! We are patiently awaiting for the exterior to be finished! New things are coming with Stoney Oak Properties! Stay tuned!
I was born and raised in Leon, Iowa and recently returned there after living 4 years in Osceola. I worked at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon for 37 years in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS), serving as Ambulance Director for 26 years. I have served on the Decatur County Emergency Management Commission, Decatur County E-911 Board, Decatur County EMS Council, Leon Park & Pool Board and Leon Golf & Country Club Board. I look forward to helping you with your real estate needs.
I was born and raised on a family-owned Century Farm in South Central Iowa and attended & graduated from the Murray Community School District. I continued my post high school education at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA. After graduating from college, I was hired on at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the mortgage refinancing department and worked for them for over 3 and a half years before deciding to follow my dreams in the real estate world! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children and our families, participating in all types of sporting events, being outdoors and going ‘home’ to help out on the family farm! I enthusiastically look forward to assisting you with selling your home; or helping you in the search for your perfect home!
